台灣酒閃耀國際烈酒競賽舞台























Taiwan liquors bagged a gold and silver medal at the recently concluded Spirits Selection in 
Florianopolis, Brazil, continuing the nation’s strong showing at international competitions over the past 12 months.

Silver medalist iPure Oolong Tea Liquor, distilled by New Taipei City-based Ume Enterprise Co. Ltd., is made with fruit and oolong tea grown in the vicinity Alishan in southern Taiwan.

Chen Shy-tzy, a manager with Ume Enterprise, said the greatest challenge in producing the beverage is to find a base liquor that will not overpower the distinctive fragrance of oolong tea.

“Of course, the special yeast produced by the beverage’s creator Tsai Chen-ho is a key component of the drink’s popularity with consumers and judges.”

Ume Enterprise also claimed gold with a plum liquor at the same event held in Kaohsiung City last year. (SFC-JSM)

《烘培酒食譜》歐洲香料熱紅酒


歐洲香料熱紅酒


想過個暖暖的冬夜嗎?歐洲香料熱紅酒(Mulled Wine, Vin Chaud, Glühwein),是盛行歐洲的飲品,由紅酒、香料、柑橘、糖等加熱而成,在耶誕夜或萬聖節時來上一杯,簡直從心底優雅地暖起來了! 醇雅的紅酒、蜂蜜、肉豆蔻及肉桂是熱紅酒的精華所在,配上一點蘋果香味,溫暖舒服又宜人! 

《材料》
1 瓶 紅酒 (可使用艾波兒
1%低酒精紅酒)
1 杯 蘋果西打/蘋果酒/蘋果汁 (可使用艾波兒/奇士安蘋果醋及蘋果酒)
2~3 大匙 蜂蜜或糖漿
1 顆 小型蘋果,切薄片
1 顆 柳橙榨汁 (或使用奇士安烘培用橙酒/橘子酒)
1 顆 八角
2 根 肉桂棒
4 顆 整顆丁香
適量 肉豆蔻粉

1. 將蘋果酒/蘋果汁(或烘培用蘋果酒)、柳橙汁及柳橙皮(或烘培用橙酒/橘子酒)、蜂蜜及香料放進鍋中在一個大鍋中混合,煮至微滾
2. 轉小火加入紅酒後再煮約10~20分鐘
3. 倒入杯子,添加裝飾用橙皮
